Job Purpose
The Head of Finance will lead the finance team on reporting and preparing dashboards for senior managers and Board for continual monitoring and review.
General Specification
The candidate will have relevant Charity experience in a senior finance position having qualified either through experience or formal qualification. They will be responsible for nurturing a small team of processors providing them with strong support and management. They will be able to communicate well with senior leadership teams who have less finance knowledge to produce sound management accounts and forecasting.

Direct reports: Finance Assistants
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (Salary dependent on experience)
Working hours: 22.5 hours per week; we offer a flexitime scheme
Place of Work: Your usual place of work will be Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, South Shore Road, Gateshead NE8 3BA
Annual leave: You will be entitled to 25 days paid annual leave (pro-rata to working hours) plus standard bank holidays.
Must have eligibility to work in the UK.
