Langley has a fantastic opportunity for a Support Worker to join our busy and friendly team in Cheltenham. This role is a permanent full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will receive a salary of £23,222 per annum. The shift pattern will be 12.5 hour shifts across a 7-day period.
Responsibilities:
* Key work and support clients generally within your service.
* Perform individual personal care tasks, including washing, showering and toileting, medication administration, and promoting independence.
* Write care plans and ensure these are followed and handed over to all staff; take an active part in handover and report any concerns to the Management Team.
* De-escalate and manage stressful situations in a calm manner.
* Regularly fully utilise the Trust 'Client File' with designated clients to ensure that they are supported and empowered to achieve appropriate outcomes.
* Provide support and guidance to other Support Workers to assist them in the safe delivery of the service and to support client engagement.
