About the Role: As an ICT Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and effective Information and Communications Technology (ICT) lessons to students, helping them develop essential digital skills and a passion for technology. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to create and implement innovative teaching strategies that cater to the diverse needs of students. Key Responsibilities of ICT Teacher: Develop and deliver engaging ICT lessons that inspire students and foster a love for technology. Teach a range of subjects to students in Key Stage 3 (Ages 11-14) and Key Stage 4 (Ages 14-16). Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring all students can achieve their full potential. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessary. Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each student’s education and well-being. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported. Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students, making learning enjoyable and effective. Keep detailed records of student progress, including assessments, observations, and feedback, and communicate this information to parents and relevant parties. Requirements of ICT Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Prior experience in teaching ICT or a related subject is essential. Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships within the school community. Commitment to helping students develop their ICT skills and achieve their full potential. Relevant qualifications or training in ICT education (desirable but not essential).
