North London Hospice is a registered charity that has been caring for local people since 1984. We are committed to empowering patients with life-limiting illnesses, supporting them to achieve the best quality of life possible.
We welcome people from all faiths and communities within the boroughs of Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey and also provide some services in Camden and Islington too. We provide physical, emotional, and spiritual care to patients and families, friends, and carers.

Position Overview
As a registered Health or Social Care professional (NMC/HCPC/QSW), this post is one of four Heads of Service and will be working very collaboratively with your counterpart covering the West Locations. You will hold responsibility for all NLH teams working out of the Winchmore Hill site (Enfield and Haringey Community specialist Palliative Care Teams and the Clinic and Outreach Service).
Key Responsibilities
1. Engage strategically with the other Heads of Service in weekly meetings.
2. Provide direction to the teams at the Winchmore Hill site to understand how their role fits into our culture and ways of working.
3. Support the two enhanced Palliative Clinical Nurse Specialists with the day-to-day running of their teams.
4. Work closely with the Community Administrator and Clinical Out Reach Manager to deliver services on site and in the wider community.
5. Develop relationships in the wider community and support teams in delivering services from a range of sites.
