About The Team:
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of five, including Automation, Reliability, and Junior Engineers, at our new semi-automated meal kit distribution center. You will ensure smooth operations, optimize efficiency, and maintain equipment reliability during your shift.
What You Will Be Doing:
● Monitor, fault find, repair systems, and perform preventive maintenance on automation, robotics, and control panels to ensure equipment availability. Document work in CMMS and ticketing systems
● Troubleshoot equipment issues, support junior technicians, and escalate to leadership or vendors when needed
● Mentor and develop the maintenance team in advanced automation, controls, and robotics while managing team performance, training, and development
● Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety standards, report incidents, and lead root cause analysis for downtime events
● Audit vendor work, provide feedback on SLA performance, and standardize PMs across the network
● Participate in ad hoc projects and undertake other role-related duties as required
Who You Are:
● NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Training
● Proven experience with material handling, flow visualization, and monitoring
● Proficient in diagnosing PLC-controlled automation in production environments
● Expertise in PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, including programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance
● Advanced computer skills and ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
● Relevant leadership experience
● Strong understanding of PLCs and automated processes; Dematic experience (SL2 sorter, DMS shuttle systems) preferred

Working Schedule: Sun - Wed 6pm-6am (night shift) Wed - Sat 6pm-6am (night shift)
