Job Description
Job purpose summary: To deliver a fees recovery performance within the expectations outlined and in line with the credit policy and procedure of a global company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure that debts are paid to terms.
2. Meet cash & debtor day targets set by the Company.
3. Chase overdue invoices by telephone and email within agreed timescales.
4. Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity applying process at all times.
5. Communicate regularly with senior personnel to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary.
6. Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness.
7. Handle disputed invoices and support negotiation to bring payment within terms.
8. Identify client issues impacting prompt payment. Understand a client’s billing and payment process cycle and propose and drive resolutions.
9. Operate with and manage invoicing on client portals.
10. Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries.
11. Undertake account reconciliations as required.
12. Support and deliver all company policies, procedures and corporate governance.
13. Support cash postings and reconciliations.
14. Manage credit note requirements.
15. Enforce client contracts & mitigations when applicable.
16. Provide ad-hoc reporting and other activity as required from time to time.
17. Place the core objectives of the finance team at the centre of everything we do.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS:
1. Able to demonstrate experience of working in a professional, busy and demanding environment.
2. Good understanding of credit control policies, procedures, sales ledger credit management.
3. Experience of credit control management systems.
4. Possess a good understanding of Excel and Word.
5. Experience of dealing with clients at all levels and senior internal personnel to manage client accounts.
6. Ability to manage & prioritise an extensive caseload.

2. Good keyboard skills and competence of Excel and Word.
3. High standard of numeracy, accuracy with attention to detail.
