Carbon Rewind is a national installer of energy efficiency measures aimed at reducing heating bills and carbon emissions. We are actively working with energy suppliers across the UK, specialising in insulation, heating upgrades and renewable heating systems. Our head office is based in Watford and have a warehouse in Wokingham.
We are searching for an experienced Electrical Supervisor with a background in supervising large numbers of domestic orientated electricians across several different projects. Your expertise in overseeing electrical installations, coupled with a keen eye for detail, will play a pivotal role in the successful completion of our projects. Successful candidates will have in-depth experience performing a range of electrical duties and must be comfortable with a tool-based supervisor role.
Your responsibilities will be:
* As an Electrical Supervisor, you will supervise and develop electrical operatives, ensuring works are completed to the required standard and operatives are trained to the appropriate level.
* Undertake technical surveys on properties and equipment, producing technical reports as required in addition to undertaking subject matter expert trade tasks in line with all personal health and safety risk assessment requirements.
* To be able to be positively challenge and promote continuous improvement.
* Act as the main point of contact for technical support for all electricians and other site operatives as required
* A strong, demonstrable commitment to excellence in customer service and partnership working with colleagues across the organisation.
* Stay up to date with technical and regulatory developments relating to electrical works. This includes building relationships with manufacturers, suppliers and regulators.
* Work closely with HSEQ Manager to develop and implement an ongoing quality assurance program. This includes carrying out quality assurance inspections on site and ensuring that outcomes are clearly reported and actioned.
* Work with procurement team to help optimise logistics including stock levels, accurate selection and picking
Requirements:
* Level 3 Certificate
* 18th edition certificate / Preferably Amendment 2
* AM2 Certificate
* Testing & Inspection Certificate
Desireable:
* Electric Vehicle Charging (Advantageous)
* Solar PV & Battery (EESS) (Advantageous)
* Previous experience as NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor (Advantageous)
