Position Overview:
In this role, you will report to our VP of Sales, Head of International, EMEA, and will have direct lines of communication with our leadership team and any other resources needed to successfully support your role. This role will have numerous responsibilities for supporting customer onboarding, operational improvements supporting customer success, and ownership of customer issue resolution. This role will support pre and post sales activity and have a key role to play in the business reviews of key customers.
Building and closing opportunities across the EMEA Enterprise business segment is a critical growth area for Zones, so your relationships across the sales group will be a key part of the role. This role is pivotal to that success and the ongoing management of customer success.
What you’ll do as the Director of Sales Operations

1. Serve as a trusted advisor and sales operations lead to field sales and leadership in EMEA; be the bridge between sales and operations driving customer success at all times.
2. Develop, track and manage the forecast process, performance analysis, and metrics/KPIs to drive forecast accuracy for the VP and Head of International.
3. Partner with Sales and critical cross-functional teams to execute on annual planning (sales capacity planning, territory planning and management, comp plan design, quota setting).
4. Lead pipeline performance analysis to ensure quality and to identify areas of concern and best practices. Use this analysis to provide actionable feedback and areas of focus to drive sales analytics data gathering, reporting, and improvements.
5. Implement best practices and standardization of sales processes, keeping repeatability and scalability top of mind.
6. Ensure alignment of Sales team with overall company objectives and priorities.
7. Use data and qualitative information to drive and optimize our business.
8. Structure and evaluate business problems, design and implement actionable recommendations, and track success metrics.
9. Define programs and processes that promote the sales team landing new business, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities in conjunction with customer success.
10. Align and drive strategic initiatives from Sales leadership across internal Zones resources and groups to further improve sales performance.
11. Maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibilities or environment; adjust effectively to change by exploring the benefits, trying new approaches, and collaborating with others to make the change successful.
What you will bring to the team:
1. 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Business Operations. Proven success in driving operational excellence.
2. High motivation for continuous improvement and ability to drive impact.
3. Superior organizational and analytical skills.
4. Ability to independently identify problems, propose solutions and execute on those solutions.
5. Experience working in multinational organizations is a plus.
6. Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Finance concentration a plus.
