The TeamThe Real Estate transactional team deal with some of the UK's largest and most high-profile deals acting for developers, investors, funders and major occupiers across a number of sectors. Our clients include international funds, developers in the life sciences, Logistics and housebuilding sectors and corporate occupiers in the retail, office and manufacturing sectors.We are keen to appoint an experienced Senior Associate to join our established Real Estate Transactional team. Responsibilities Acquiring and disposing of commercial real estate assets. Assembling sites for development and working closely with our property litigation and planning teams to come up with and implementing comprehensive VP and delivery strategies The asset management of individual properties and portfolios including the granting of agreements for lease, leases and licences, lease renewals and rent reviews. Supporting our colleagues in the corporate department on the real estate aspects of corporate transactions Assisting on large scale portfolio transactions including dealing with certificates of title. High levels of client contact and client liaison responsibilities. Key Skills & Experience Qualified solicitor with 5years post qualification experience in real estate transactional matters, including Landlord and Tenant matters. Qualification from another well-known real estate firm with at least one 6 month seat in the real estate department during traineeship Relevant ‘hands-on’ work experience and client management skills. Good knowledge of English Land Law and Landlord and Tenant law. Strong interpersonal skills and sound time/case management skills. Positive mind-set and capable of working well with colleagues at all levels.
