Job Overview
Looking for a career change? Aqualogic is delighted to announce we’re recruiting qualified plumbers who want to support sustainability with greener values, while being rewarded with a guaranteed income plus performance bonus. This role is ideally suited to maintenance plumbers who have an appetite for problem solving and retrofitting rather than first fix or fit out plumbers.
Typical Environments
Commercial buildings and schools or similar. Following the successful award of a flagship contract with Severn Trent Water, we need to recruit plumbers to help their commercial customers become water efficient. The region stretches across the West Midlands and includes Birmingham, Coventry, and Leicester.
You may be recently qualified looking for a new role or someone with many years of plumbing experience who wants something different; either way, this is a great role that benefits customers by enabling them to cut carbon, save water, and money. We have a 96% approval rating from our customers. We plan all jobs for you; all you have to do is turn up at the customer’s property and carry out the commercial water efficiency survey. You may then have to fit a range of products that we supply to help the customer save water, ranging from urinal controls to push taps.
All in all, together with our customers, we’ll aim to be carbon zero, help our customers get there, and importantly, reduce water use to a sustainable level of 15% less over the next 5 years.
Job Summary
You’ll be visiting companies who are keen to save water and money, examples include schools, colleges, hotels, office blocks, etc. You may be staying away from home.
You’ll represent Aqualogic and our water company clients in a confident, professional, and knowledgeable manner, engaging in discussions about water use across a range of areas from taps and showers to pools, hot tubs, irrigation, and more. You’ll carry out water efficiency checks within commercial settings, discussing water use and assessing plumbing fittings, measuring flow rates, and looking for leaks. Where necessary, you’ll fit products from our comprehensive range of water-saving products and take meter reads.
Through training and workshops, you’ll become a water-saving expert, dispensing advice, looking for new technologies, and most importantly, being passionate about delivering a worthy and exceptional service. Plus, you’ll input the vital data you’ve gathered onto our system using the provided IT equipment.
