We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and do not require any experience for this role. You will be working very closely with another on site electrician, as well as our electrical trained Site Manager. As our Engineering Apprentice, we’ll help you to become qualified so you can: Carry out planned preventative maintenance Provide general maintenance of equipment Modify, test and inspect condition-based monitoring and fault finding with our systems Help improve systems on our sites where required Work on technology which monitors and controls all aspects of processes and their performance across the site Carry out risk assessments and method statements to ensure activities are completed in a safe manner at all times If this sounds like something you may be interested in, we would like to hear from you Explore a varied and rewarding career at GFSL.
