They are looking to bring in an experienced and dynamic Team Leader to head up the Northwest Property Management team, overseeing the management of a diverse portfolio and managing a team of Asset Managers. The role:
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management the Property Management team. You will oversee the operational delivery of property management services, ensuring that all properties are efficiently managed, compliant with regulations, and provide an excellent living experience for tenants. Additionally, you will lead, mentor, and develop a team of property managers to maintain high standards of service delivery.
Key responsibilities:
* Oversee the management and maintenance of residential properties across the North West and manage the relationships with the clients.
* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of property management professionals, setting clear objectives and providing regular coaching and support.
* Communicate expectations, set deadlines, goals and feedback to the group regularly and resolve any concerns or issues actively.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry best practices.
* Manage key client relationships, providing regular reports and updates on property performance.
* Resolve complex property management issues, providing innovative and effective solutions.
* Monitor and manage financial performance of properties, including budgeting and cost control.
* Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Key requirements:
* Extensive experience in residential property management.
* Extensive management / leadership experience, including managing and developing teams.
* Strong understanding of property legislation and industry regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, tenants, and external stakeholders.
* A proactive, results-driven approach with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
* A relevant property management qualification (e.g., MRICS, ARLA) is highly desirable but not essential.
