We have a full-time temporary vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant to support the learning of our lovely children. The post would suit an experienced teaching assistant, preferably with a relevant qualification; someone looking to move onto a teaching career in the future; or a qualified teacher wishing to undertake a support role. There is also a half hour lunch duty each day, in line with all of our support staff.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working, creative practitioner, able to both care for and support our wonderful children to be the best version of themselves possible. Our staff are deployed to both class LSA roles and 1:1 roles as required; however, this role will initially be class based within our SEND nurture provision, supported by a highly skilled team. Applicants must have good literacy skills, and the ability to develop positive learning attitudes with children. You will also need to be a good team player.
About us: We are a two-form entry school on the Cornwall/Devon border. We offer a warm welcome from a supportive, hard-working and passionate team, wonderful children and many opportunities for further professional development for the right person.
