Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bright, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Surgical Centre Management Team. The post holder will support the Endoscopy Coordinator and the wider management team to ensure the smooth delivery of a quality patient-focused service.
Working as part of a team whilst supporting the Endoscopy Coordinator, you must be flexible and adaptable to a varied and high-volume workload. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines are essential.
You must be numerate and methodical, with accuracy and attention to detail being of vital importance. Good organization skills and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential, as is experience of working with Microsoft Office programmes.
Main duties of the job
* Support the Surgical Coordinators and the wider management team to ensure the smooth delivery of a quality patient-focused service.
* Work with the Surgical Coordinators within the Surgical Centre, as well as corporately with all Trust employees in delivering the Trust’s overall strategic objectives.
* Work with the management team to ensure consistent delivery of required KPI standards associated with JAG and the wider Endoscopy standards.
Person specification
Education and qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 Business and Administration or equivalent qualification or experience
Experience
* Experience in producing reports using IT software and analytical analysis
* Experience of project management and coordination skills
Skills and knowledge
* Evidence of ability to manage own workload effectively
* Ability to analyse complex problems and to develop practical and workable solutions
* NHS experience
* Experience of using bespoke health or Trust IT products such as e-Rostering software or ESR
