An exciting opportunity to join the Art team at Oasis Academy Sholing Following the retirement of a key member of the art team we are looking to recruit a well-qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of Art to support the Principal, staff and our students as we ‘Strive for Excellence’(SFX). The Art Department is well led, and the subject is extremely popular with students. At KS4, the department offers Photography and Textiles as well as Art, Craft and Design, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who would like experience of teaching a wider range of GCSE courses. A willingness to support the Academy ethos and support of extra-curricular activities within the Academy is essential. You must be able to use a range of teaching strategies to inspire and motivate our students and demonstrate a commitment to sharing best practice with colleagues in the department. A passion for creative arts and a commitment to developing it across the curriculum is paramount.
