Fleet Manager Required - North London - Construction - Fleet of 80 Vehicles I am looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to join my clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management and a passion for maintaining a well-organised and efficient fleet of over 80 Vehicles. Over the years, the company has expanded to provide a full range of multi-disciplinary building refurbishment, fit-out and maintenance services to the public sector and to a broad range of commercial, industrial, leisure and healthcare sector clients. Today, the principal aims of the company remain to maintain enduring relationships with existing long-term clients, and to develop new customer relationships by providing high quality, high value, building refurbishment, fit-out and maintenance services. Position Overview: The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company’s fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong leadership skills to manage a diverse fleet of vehicles with the knowledge of FORS Accreditation. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the company’s fleet Develop and implement fleet management strategies to optimise vehicle utilisation Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections for all vehicles Monitor fuel usage, track vehicle performance, and analyse fleet data Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to negotiate contracts Maintain accurate records of all fleet-related activities Ensure all vehicles are properly insured and that fleet compliance with licensing, registration, and environmental regulations is up to date. Lead a team of drivers and support staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role within fleet or transportation management.
