Role And Responsibilities Your key responsibilities The D2C Planning Manager will play a pivotal role in driving Samsung’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) operations across Europe. This role is responsible for supporting in D2C planning, performance analysis and reporting into actionable plans, ensuring seamless execution across regional markets, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. With a focus on managing performance analysis, reporting and project, this position offers the opportunity to shape the future of Samsung’s D2C ecosystem while collaborating with Europe D2C teams and cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals. D2C Planning Interpret the global D2C strategy from headquarters and adapt it to align with European market dynamics and goals. Collaborate with the European senior leadership team to ensure D2C plans are effectively communicated and integrated across relevant teams and markets. Coordinate European D2C planning, bridging global directives and local execution. Support the creation of a comprehensive European Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) strategy by providing clear guidance to local D2C teams to develop actionable delivery plans. Identify market-specific weaknesses, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement across Europe to improve sales and customer happiness. Complete initiatives to address market challenges, foster growth, and support levelling-up programs to ensure consistent performance across regions Performance Analytics and Reporting Monitor and analyze performance indicators and data to assess the efficiency of D2C strategies in Europe. Develop and deliver regular performance reports, offering actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership and key collaborators. Consolidate and analyze data from various D2C teams to provide clear, concise, and impactful recommendations to collaborators. Project Management & Prioritization Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Coordinate the execution of D2C initiatives, ensuring alignment with the overarching European D2C strategy. Monitor and review project relevance, progress, and outcomes, proactively addressing challenges and recommending course corrections when needed. Serve as a point of contact for project-related concerns, offering direction and mentorship to ensure successful delivery. Collaboration and Communication Share updates, reports, and presentations with senior leadership and other collaborators to maintain alignment and transparency of the D2C business performance and initiative. Establish and uphold strong relationships with global, regional, and local customers to encourage alignment and approval for D2C initiatives. Ensure clear, consistent communication across teams, promoting transparency and accountability in D2C operations. Continuous Improvement Discover and assess new methods and advancements in D2C, sharing insights with senior leaders and key collaborators in Europe for strategic decision-making and business expansion. Drive process improvement to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of D2C planning and performance analysis. What We Need For This Role To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes: Strong experience in interpreting global D2C strategies and adapting them for regional markets, specifically in Europe. Strong planning and organizing skills, the ability to develop plans and implement them while keeping collaborators informed Skilled in defining, tracking, and reporting on important data and information to assess the efficiency of strategies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and driving initiatives to successful execution. Outstanding ability to collaborate with senior leadership, local teams, and global collaborators to ensure alignment across all levels. Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with partners and team members, meeting tight deadlines. Strong collaboration and communication across headquarters, European team, where all D2C initiatives are coordinated and effectively completed across regions. Providing detailed and valuable metrics reports and insights to key collaborators across Europe and the senior leadership team, enabling informed decision-making and strategic alignment. Achievement of D2C KPIs across Europe, with well-documented, data-driven performance reports that highlight progress, challenges, and next steps. Collaborators actively using insights and recommendations from reports to improve strategies and make adjustments when needed. Effective project coordination & management, where initiatives are completed on time and within budget, contributing to the successful delivery of strategic objectives. A culture of continuous improvement, where process optimizations lead to greater efficiency, effectiveness, and higher performance across D2C teams.
