Your Part in the Performance The Paid Media Team manage international marketing campaigns, predominantly across PPC, and are responsible for the profitable spend and evaluation of a multi-million-pound annual budget. We are professional, expert and data driven. The Paid Media Manager will report into the Head of Performance Marketing and will work to achieve our commercial and strategic goals set out by the Marketing Director. You will initially lead the execution of our in-house Google Ads & Microsoft ads activity, specifically campaign development & optimisation. The role will have opportunities to get involved across wider marketing channels such as Marketplaces, Affiliates or Paid Social which currently represent a smaller portion of our marketing budget; however, these channels are rapidly increasing in importance to us, and your role will grow with these too. Role Overview As the Paid Media Manager, you will initially be responsible for implementing the strategy to scale our Google Ads and Microsoft Ad accounts across 20 countries, ensuring strong performance & best practice across a diverse range of product categories. You will initially work alongside the Head of Performance marketing to design the strategy and you will also support in developing other channels, such as paid social, where required. The Paid Media Manager will report into the Head of Performance Marketing and will work collaboratively with other business departments to achieve our commercial and strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, execute, and optimise paid media campaigns, predominantly Google Ads & Microsoft Ads, with assistance across social campaign. This will be across a number of product categories and in 20 countries. • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, adjusting strategies to meet KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, and product margin. • Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and bidding strategies to drive ongoing performance improvements. • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring maximum return on investment. • Provide detailed performance reporting, outlining key insights and recommendations. • Stay updated on industry & market trends, platform changes, and emerging technologies, ensuring all major updates are communicated with the wider team • Assist with developing the PPC team, whether that’s suggesting new tools, new ways of working, new test ideas, etc. We’d Love to Meet Someone With • Strong level of experience managing Google Ads campaigns with a good understanding of campaign types, bidding strategies, campaign structures, and automated tools within Google Ads. • A desire to lead the PPC channel from an executional perspective. • Some level of experience in other marketing channels, particularly paid social, although your development will be aided. • A mathematical education or background or comfortable analysing large data sets. • A constant desire to learn & undertake new challenges. • The ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. • The ability to clearly articulate their thoughts and insights to team-members.
