Salary: Band 3, £25,098 pro rata. (£13 an hour)
Hours: Office hours are between 08:00 and 16:00

Houghton Police Station, Permanent, 30 hours, 6 hours per day between office hours, Monday – Friday.
Houghton Police Station, 6-month Secondment/Fixed Term, 20 hours, 4 hours a day over 5 day between office hours, Monday – Friday.
Millbank Police Station, Permanent, 37 hours, Monday – Friday.
Southwick Police Station, 12-month Secondment/Fixed Term, 37 hours, Monday – Friday.

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to provide a range of administrative and support services. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the operational work and business planning of our Business Services Department and allocated Area Command/Department.
What you’ll do
Administrative Support: Assist internal customers with enquiries, perform general administrative tasks, open and sort mail, manage email mailboxes, and undertake word processing, minute taking and drafting of correspondence and reports.
Operational Support: Provide support to operational areas including managing stores and equipment and maintaining Health & Safety First Aid provision and operational projects.
Audits & Governance: Conduct audits and governance checks, manage RFID cards and Warrant/Smartcards, and coordinate the removal of property items from remote sites.
Station Notices: Display performance, profile and campaign information through the relevant communication channels to keep the force updated.
Cash Handling and Counting: Ensuring that the monthly income return is completed and submitted in a timely manner and arrange for the collection of monies via courier.
