Job Description We are seeking an experienced cleaner to lead our 12 person cleaning staff at a large office facility in the Harrogate area. This new team will be responsible for keeping the facility clean and presentable in a comfortable, safe, and secure working environment. This is a working Lead position with its own cleaning responsibilities. The site has a canteen on site and free parking. Positions are generally Monday to Friday with the requirement for occasional weekend work. Occasional after-hours or weekend work is usually with advance notice for 'deep cleaning' such as carpet shampooing or stripping of floors. Periodic deep cleaning of these areas, including the use of carpet- and floor-cleaning equipment such as shampooers and floor polishers. Cleaning of toilet facilities (toilets, sinks, mirrors, floors, etc.) and replacing consumable products. Cleaning and sanitization of tables, chairs, drinking fountains, door handles, and other high-use areas. Surface cleaning of kitchenettes and break rooms. Emptying of office waste bins and recycling material to appropriate locations (e.g. rubbish skip or large recycling container.) Observing FLUOR and site safety and security requirements Work effectively with other FLUOR Supervisors as part of a leadership team Ability to attain and sustain a UK DV security clearance. Must be a U.K. citizen. Attending periodic training as required by the company or facility Reporting facilities deficiencies or safety issues within work area Carry out work as efficiently and quietly as possible Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and customers Occasional duties as a security monitor for uncleared visiting personnel
