Gas Trade Supervisor
Based at Hindle House, Banbury : covering the Midlands
GBP 45,764 : GBP 48,172 per year

We have an opportunity for an experienced Gas Trade Supervisor to join our Gas team, based in Banbury. The role involves delivering a high quality Gas Operations Service that meets contract and service specifications along with customer expectations. You will be responsible for managing a team of 12 Gas Engineers carrying out
domestic gas servicing, repairs, installations, callouts and voids gas work. Some oil and renewables work will also be covered
. Day to day duties will include helping and supporting the gas engineers, conducting quality audit checks and visiting engineers in
the area
. A van will be provided for travel and training will be given as and when required.
The role of Gas Trade Supervisor will include:

Managing, developing, and monitoring the performance of your team in line with Gas legislative and regulatory requirements, helping towards the group achieving 100 compliance and providing a cost:effective and efficient service to tenants and customers

Working with Gas Planning to look at ways we can make efficiencies making sure the engineers are working in real time and addressing any issues as they arise

Liaising with your team making sure we are reporting and dealing with safeguarding, welfare and health and safety issues reporting these through the appropriate channels

Assisting in the recruitment process of new staff, attending interviews, completing inductions etc.

Managing/monitoring new installations, checking heating surveys and POJ are being sent in real time, booking appointments with tenants, ordering materials, on:site inspections of work to ensure we are achieving the desired standard.

Managing resources effectively, ensuring tools and equipment are maintained by staff and stock requests are within agreed budgets

Keeping up to date with Gas safe technical bulletins and Gas regulations and provide necessary updates to your team

To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented : G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS), or currently undertaking the qualification.

This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
