Job Description What you'll do This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge. The client is an elderly lady with limited mobility, who suffers from autism and a personality disorder. You would be assisting her with her appointments and access to the community, her personal care and offering emotional support. You will already be joining a cohesive team which includes a live-in carer who offers the care she needs and provides support with your duties.
