The Role: Responsible for managing and standardising logistics operations across multiple sites. Based at the UK national hub, you will lead the development and execution of an outbound freight strategy, ensuring it aligns with both customer requirements and business objectives. Key responsibilities include optimising logistics performance, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, negotiating contracts, and driving cost-effective and sustainable logistics solutions. Scaling logistics operations to meet increasing demand, reducing late deliveries, and improving overall customer satisfaction. Leading a logistics team, you will ensure alignment with the company’s broader goals and growth plans. The Candidate: The ideal candidate will be an experienced logistics professional with a strong background in managing logistics teams within a fast-paced, international environment. You should have experience in developing and implementing outbound freight strategies, managing cross-border logistics, and overseeing budgets to deliver cost savings. Key qualifications and attributes include: A degree or postgraduate qualification in Business Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity. Experience with international logistics, particularly in relation to post-Brexit trade. Financial acumen and a strategic approach to driving logistics improvements and sustainability initiatives.
