SQL DATABASE ANALYST FULL TIME ONSITE IN BLISWORTH, NORTHAMPTON (hybrid/remote not available for this role) Working Monday - Friday 0830 - 1700 from Blisworth, Northampton Up to 40,000 per annum DOE Plus Pension, BUPA Medical Cash Plan, Life Assurance, 22 Days Holiday Bank holidays (rising with service) As a SQL Database Analyst based in our Blisworth Offices, you will be a fundamental part of our team, enabling us to continue with our mission to serve the planet, a purpose we care strongly about and are committed to. Reporting to the Head of IT Systems t he SQL Database Analyst will need to be in regular communication with all other managers within the business to ensure their expectations of the service they receive from the IT department are being met. The Role Includes: Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases for various projects. Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with other developers, testers, and project managers to ensure the quality and functionality of systems. Perform database housekeeping such as tuning and indexing. Discuss changes and problems within IT Team so solutions can be found. Surface data and information to the business via reporting solutions such as SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI. Document and report your work progress and results. Skills & Experience Required Proven knowledge of SQL Server ( T-SQL ) and relational database concepts and principles. Experience in working with data warehouses and data lakes. Knowledge of BI self-service tools, preferably Power BI and SSRS would be desirable. Experience of working effectively in an IT team. Experience of supporting ERP systems. Effective communication skills, written and verbal. Record of accomplishment of delivering results for both day-to-day responsibilities and project-based activity.
