Spiro are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our Operations team. The Project Manager is responsible for leading and successfully managing all post-sale fabrication and warehouse service projects orders through the production and fulfilment process to meet or beat estimated cost and quality targets.

What will you do?
1. Manage exhibition builds from very initial brief to delivery on site.
2. Controlling budgets, build, design, technical design, graphics and logistics teams to make sure all services align on site.
3. Managing suppliers for electrics, flooring, graphics and AV prior to build and on site.
4. Attend group meetings and explain all project details and objectives.
5. Check project budgets for accuracy against project details and manage this through Spiro software.
6. Send clear briefs to technical design to achieve project objectives.
7. Confidentially discuss engineering solutions with account management, build and design team.
8. Provide all details to the sales, estimating, and production team.
9. Issue technical drawings to account manager, graphics and build for approval.
10. Submit logistics information and accurate requirements to depot and control transport timings with project lead times.
11. Traveling to UK/EU venues to oversee build and suppliers and sign off build quality before handing this to the client.
12. Check all shipping documents for shipment accuracy.
13. Identify items for purchase and optimize items usage for sustainable and financial prospects.
14. Be flexible and forward thinking towards the project creating and adapting to last minute changes/adds which will benefit the project.
15. Monitor build progress and alert production and sales of any concerns to prevent errors.
16. Review and approve quality of produced items.
17. Run cost reports and alert production of possible cost over-runs.
18. Coordinate graphics production, to include accurate graphic sizes, proofs, etc.
19. Working with external departments closely, sales and accounts to meet all ExpoServices required.
20. Proficient knowledge of transport/tracking software.
21. Proficient knowledge of GBMS (bespoke software - training provided).
What you’ll need
1. Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in Exhibit Construction/Management, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Management, Industrial Design or related fields.
2. 2-5 or more years related experience.
3. Drafting experience, CAD drafting preferred.
4. Thorough knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, word processing and graphics.
5. Ability to analyze available information and make sound decisions.
6. Ability to monitor, understand, manage, and control project costs and their impacts on project performance.
7. Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, PPT).
8. Experience using ERP, Work Order, and Inventory Management Systems preferred.
9. Ability to understand and read fabrication and installation drawings.
10. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
