The opportunity
EY’s Financial Services Cyber and Resilience practice is expanding, offering opportunities to work on projects across cyber threat management, strategy development, transformation, identity and access management, data protection, privacy, and operational resilience.
We are seeking a Cyber Architect (Manager) to develop and advise on cyber and cloud security services, contributing to EY’s cyber security capabilities and building out our service offerings in collaboration with partners and clients.
You will join a team of over 1,000 cyber professionals across EMEIA, dedicated to delivering security transformation programs, threat management, identity and access management, architecture, data protection, privacy, and resilience services. EY plans to expand its market-leading Cyber Security practice significantly over the next five years, and we seek talented individuals to join us in this growth journey.
Your Key Responsibilities
Manage client engagement teams, advise clients, and contribute to business development activities within the Cybersecurity domain. Provide insights, adapt practices to client needs, and improve operational efficiency. Lead teams, identify risks, and mentor junior staff, exemplifying EY’s values.
Client Responsibilities
* Manage cybersecurity engagements, ensuring quality, time, and budget adherence
* Scope and plan delivery with clients
* Develop market for cybersecurity services, create proposals, and marketing materials
* Lead and mentor team members
* Create thought leadership and market materials
* Manage financial aspects of engagements
People Responsibilities
* Supervise, coach, and mentor staff
* Conduct performance reviews
* Participate in recruiting and training
* Promote teamwork and collaboration
Skills And Attributes For Success
Candidates should have experience advising Financial Services on cybersecurity, broad technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, impact on security architecture, communication skills, knowledge of security best practices and regulations (PRA, FCA, BoE, ECB, MAS), familiarity with standards (ISO27001, NIST, PCI-DSS), and relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, TOGAF, SABSA, cloud vendor certifications). Experience in proposals, complex engagements, and cloud security is preferred.
