Role Overview The Energy Engineer will work on the identification, conceptual engineering and analysis of energy efficiency projects in large industrial sites. Focussing specifically on metering and monitoring of utilities, the utility conversion process, industrial boilers, steam systems, compressed air, power generation, CHP, heat recovery, water recycling, HVAC, refrigeration and renewable technologies. The Energy Engineer will support project managers and directors to deliver projects through technical support, whilst contributing to Cotopaxi’s best practices. Your Objectives And Responsibilities Will Focus On… Conducting historical utility billing reviews and facility benchmarking analysis Assisting on-site energy efficiency audits, observing and recommending potential opportunities, creating proposals and presenting findings to customers Aiding the development and implementation of Site Measurement Plans and deployment of Metering, Monitoring and Targeting (MM&T) equipment to document parameters such as operating times, flows, energy consumption, temperature etc. Performing concept and schematic design and calculations for EEMs, review drawings, specifications, bill of quantities and sequences of operation Assisting in customer relations Your Previous Experience Is Likely To Include….
