Early Years Apprenticeship Tutor - Full-Time, Permanent Location: Guilford Salary: £29,400 - £33,600 Travel Requirements: Regular travel to learners' workplaces in nurseries and schools across the Guildford area. Remote work when not traveling. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Assessor to join our team. Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated professional to Deliver and support apprentices in the following programs: Early Years Practitioner (Level 2) Playworker (Level 2) Early Years Educator (Level 2) Teaching Assistant (Level 3) Early Years Lead Practitioner As part of this role, you will manage a caseload of 35 learners, increasing to 45 after passing probation. You will provide both remote and on-site support to help learners successfully achieve their qualifications. Responsibilities include conducting skills reviews with apprentices and employers, identifying any gaps, and developing individualized training plans. You will also maintain accurate candidate records, perform workplace observations, and deliver high-quality training, including functional skills, ensuring compliance with awarding body standards. Key Responsibilities: Assess and evaluate learners’ skills and behaviors, providing detailed feedback through the ePortfolio system. Develop and implement tailored training plans based on learner needs and identified gaps. Conduct workplace observations and maintain thorough candidate records. Deliver training that meets the high standards expected by the awarding bodies. Qualifications and Experience: Assessor’s qualification. A qualification in Early Years. A minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role. Access to a car for travel.
