We are looking for a Warehouse/General Manager for a UK-based, family-run enterprise, that has evolved from a modest startup into a prominent manufacturer and distributor of chemical products.
Don't be fooled by the seemingly mundane subject matter - they've grown exponentially over last 6 years - utilising digital expertise to reach both D2C and B2B markets.
Their offerings are blended, bottled, and dispatched directly from their manufacturing and distribution plant, ensuring quality control and efficiency. You will have experience managing a similar warehouse environment - although it does not have to specifically chemicals.
They have a team of 30 in the warehouse at the moment, but you will spearhead an improvement in all areas - working under a very exciting Head of Ops that wants to trust and empower you to make this happen.
You certainly are not coming in to a mess, but a huge opportunity to improve, enhance and make things better and take the business to the next stage of growth. You will be someone who likes to roll their sleeves up and get things done, rather than being a glorified pointer.
They're based just outside Maidstone in Kent, and you'd be on site 5 days a week (the operational hours are Mon-Sat). If you work on the Saturday (8am - 1pm) you are eligible for overtime.
The basic salary for the role is between £50,000 – £80,000 per annum depending on experience - we're looking to see a broad range of experience levels applying. There are also plenty of other benefits which we can run through when we chat.
If you are interested or want to know more, send me a message, DM (Will Grashoff on LinkedIn), call me – whatever is easiest. Having an up-to-date CV to hand is ideal, but if you haven’t got one immediately, we can still chat through the position, and you can learn more.
Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable to apply, we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there is no gender bias in our adverts.
