Job Description
IT Technician required. For over 40 years, my client has provided solutions to help prevent forgery, tampering and counterfeiting on high value paper documents for various organisations around the world.
The successful candidate will provide IT Hardware & software support to the IT department and its users across the security division. You will report to the IT Manager, and are expected to make a major contribution to the development and success of the business.
Position Overview
1. Diagnosing & resolving technical issues: Identifying & resolving hardware/software problems encountered by computer users.
2. Troubleshooting issues with operating systems, applications, network connectivity, printers and other computer peripherals.
3. Installing and configuring computer systems: setting up new computer systems, installing operating systems, network settings.
4. Providing IT Support either in person, over the phone or remote access.
5. Maintaining computer networks: monitoring network performance, troubleshooting network issues, and configuring network devices.
6. Data backup and recovery.
7. Security administration
8. Maintaining CCTV and physical access control
9. Maintaining documentation of technical issues and troubleshooting
10. MIS Administration
11. Security and compliance: assist in ensuring the security of the IT Infrastructure
Position Requirements
12. 1-2 years experience or an Entry-level candidate with a passion to learn and a great work ethic
13. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
14. Experience in IT Support, identifying issues and installing/configuring hardware and software
15. Can work in a team as well as independently

16. Monday to Friday
