We are currently recruiting for a Sales Office Assistant on a 3 month Fixed Term Contract. The role will be officed based in Flitwick, Bedfordshire and will be Monday to Thursday working normally 9am to 5pm with Friday being a shorter day working 9am to 3pm (Totaling 37.5 hours a week). As a Sales Office Assistant the perfect candidate will be performing a range of day-to-day clerical and customer service duties to assist in the smooth running of the Beaumont Office. In this role there will be multiple administration duties including but not limited to the clerical support to relevant in-house teams within Beaumont, as well as dealing with and administering day to day sales orders and customer queries. Key Accountabilities Builds relationships with all levels within the business and across our customer base, being seen as the “go to” for administration within the business Works collaboratively with the Senior Team within Beaumont and where needed within Nisbets Scheduling transportation and bookings in as required Preparing documents such as quotes,Uk and export orders and batch invoice processing Scanning, photocopying and filing of documents where needed Sorting and distributing mail (paper and electronic) to the correct area To answer incoming calls professionally and to divert to the correct person/function as needed To be a key contact for our customers queries and initial complaint handling Creating, editing and updating spreadsheets and the use of business software as required Dealing with a range of customer day to day queries and admin requests such as product certificates, delivery updates, image requests, declaration Assisting customers with stock checks as and when required Following any new systems/processes as required by Nisbets Qualifications, Skills, Experience & Technical Capabilities Good understanding of customer requirements and customer service Highly numerate with a strong command of MS Office packages, especially Excel Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills (both verbal and written) Ability to work well with others and across different disciplines (ie Sales, Ops, Customer Service) Comfortable with dealing with confidential commercial information Ability to be flexible in line with the needs of the Office function Key Benefits Competitive base salary with an annual performance related bonus. 25 days holiday plus your Birthday off The option to earn 4 additional days holiday or a cash bonus, based on your attendance.
