STA Engineer - F1 - Electrical
This amazing short-term contract role for an STA Engineer is a unique opportunity to showcase your expertise and skills with a world-leading Formula 1 organisation.
You will be a key member within the team and the person that secures this position will be crucial to the success of this dynamic company on its F1 projects. The duration of this contract is initially running until the end of the year and will be inside IR35.
You will have practical experience of working in the production, manufacturing, design or inspection of electrical/electronic assemblies (e.g., looms, sensors, PCBA) for high-reliability applications, and effectively manage a portfolio of suppliers with confidence. You have knowledge of the application of GD&T, New Product Introductions, and testing/failure analysis.
Beneficial Experience:
Any experience of the following will be beneficial but not essential:
1. Understanding the documentation required for production validation.
2. Problem Solving Techniques (six-sigma, 8D, etc.).
3. Process auditing.
4. Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organisational skills.
You will be organised as you promote cross-departmental liaisons across Purchasing, Inspection, Build, Manufacturing, and Engineering. Creating strong working relationships will help you achieve success.
