Job Description
Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity is now available for a Transport Compliance Administrator to join our team in Spalding on a full time permanent basis!
As a Transport Compliance Administrator you will support the Transport Managers in ensuring all compliance elements of the transport operation are achieved across fleet and driver elements.
Working Hours: 5 on 2 off, working any 40 hours between the hours of 06:00-16:00.
Key Duties of a Transport Compliance Administrator:
1. Ensure adherence to all legislative and Fowler Welch internal compliance procedures regarding fleet service.
2. To provide efficient administrative support as directed by the Transport Compliance Manager, utilising systems to ensure all required records are processed, stored, and retained in line with policies.
3. Maintain responsibility for performing all administrative duties in compliance with related legal/statutory, regulations, professional duties, responsibilities and obligations.
4. Ensure all trucks and trailers are serviced to legal requirements & within scheduled timelines.
5. Managing & responding to fleet queries raised internally by the Operation Team as well as these from the Group.
6. Managing daily, live entry of all defects & booking required compliance.
7. Liaising with service providers ensuring engineers are issued with lists of assets available for weekly & monthly compliance.
8. Assist the TCM and Driver Trainers in organisational and administrative tasks related to driver management, eg CPC scheduling, DCRS, assessment/induction paperwork, microlise reporting and analysis, damage/risk analysis.
Qualifications
9. Good understanding of legal requirements ( CPC not required).
10. To be able to use software – Including Microsoft/Excel/Word & In house Compliance System.
11. Experience in a similar role.
12. Experience of fleet and customer/supplier relationships.
13. Exceptional organisational, prioritising skills & attention to detail.
