Architectural Technologist Job in St James’s, London
An is available, with a RIBA chartered practice in St James’s, London. This practice has a focus on high-end residential, hospitality, and listed building projects throughout the UK and internationally!
Specialists in both new build and refurbishments, UK commissions include masterplanning of major estates, new residential villas, and apartments, and the refurbishments of grade-listed I and II buildings in central London. Projects internationally include new-build hotels/resorts, residences, and masterplans of planned communities.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Work through all RIBA stages of high-end residential and hospitality projects, with a focus on RIBA stage 4 and 5
2. Development of detailed and technical designs
3. Coordination with consultants
4. Preparation of tender information and construction documentation (drawings and NBS)
5. Attending site inspections
6. Reporting to the Project Architect and Directors on the project process.
Required Skills & Experience
7. A minimum of 5 years’ PQE in professional practice
8. A minimum of 3 years UK experience
9. Experience working on high-end residential, or high-end hospitality projects within the UK
10. Experience in traditional detailing is desirable
11. Knowledge of Vectorworks is highly desirable but not essential
12. A good knowledge of building regulations
13. Strong presentation skills
14. Site experience
15. A high level of organisation and the ability to work to strict deadlines
16. Fantastic English, both written and oral.
