Role: HR Lead
Location: Sheffield
Business: Advanced Manufacturing (Sheffield) Limited (AML) is an advanced machining supplier focused on aerofoil and rotative components. We are at the leading edge of machining technologies and are dedicated to delivering efficiency and reduced cycle times for our clients in the aerospace sector. Our advanced milling, turning, and 5-axis capacity enables us to machine a wide range of products including bespoke ring, casing, gearbox, aerofoil, and aerostructure components. To date, we have manufactured components for Rolls-Royce, Boeing, Siemens, Bombardier and are looking to expand our machining capabilities over the coming year.
The Position
1. Creating and maintaining electronic personnel files.
2. Ensuring that all personal information held for all employees is updated as required.
3. Monitoring and maintenance of the HR system.
4. Liaise with payroll on holidays and payroll.
5. Promote fairness & equality.
6. Conduct and investigate disciplinaries & grievances following company procedures.
7. Create & supply HR reports and statistics for monthly reviews.
8. Contribute to ensuring a safe & healthy working environment.
9. Identify training needs and design learning programs to upskill employees.
10. Support career development plans and succession planning for key roles.
11. Manage the recruitment process and onboarding of new starters.
12. Provide support to the senior management team.
13. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
14. Oversee performance management.
15. Undertake any other duties that may be associated with your role.
The Person
1. Highly motivated individual.
2. Excellent attention to detail.
3. CIPD Level 3 is essential.
4. CIPD Level 5 Desirable.
5. Educated to a Grade C or above in English and Mathematics at GCSE Level or equivalent.
6. Ability to manage own time and workload effectively.
7. Management experience.
8. Manufacturing experience.
9. 3 years HR experience.
