Job Description: We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Finance Assistant to join their finance department. The successful candidate will support the Finance Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the school's financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
* Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with school policies.
* Support budget preparation and monitoring.
* Handle queries from staff, parents, and suppliers regarding financial matters.
* Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial procedures and systems.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within an educational setting.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
