Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain and Procurement Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain systems.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee and optimise the entire supply chain within the Operations division at Hypervolt, ensuring efficient procurement, production, and distribution processes to meet organisational objectives and customer satisfaction.
2. Implement the supply chain and procurement strategy to cope with the super-fast growth the company is going through.
3. Foster robust and enduring partnerships with our suppliers, ensuring long-term collaboration and continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
4. Manage, monitor, and evaluate the success of the procurement and supply chain management activities including performance management, continuous improvement, risk management, and issue resolution.
5. Manage internal and external customer expectations accordingly in line with expected delivery dates of goods.
6. Be responsible for managing maintenance of material and customer master data within the ERP System.
7. Oversee all purchase orders, adjust purchase patterns, and monitor shipment and production schedules to meet responsibilities in line with forecast demand.
8. Evaluate vendor performance to ensure the highest quality and timely deliveries.
9. Ensure contracts are negotiated by full tendering process and cost savings are delivered to the business.
10. Act as primary liaison between Operations and Suppliers.
11. Review current supplier list to ensure cost efficiency and negotiate terms to meet agreed targets.
12. Create and implement a Supply Chain strategy that feeds into the overall strategic business objectives.
Skills
1. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
2. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
3. Solid understanding of logistics operations and inventory management techniques.
4. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
5. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
