Exciting Opportunities: General Cover Teachers needed in Gateshead ASAP or January
We are working in partnership with a trust based in the North East who are seeking several consistent general cover teachers across two sites in Gateshead however you will be based full time on only one site. This role is a long term role as the school are looking to start building up a pool of consistent supply educators. This role entails covering timetables for absent teachers for the whole durations on the absence. In this role you will support in specific departments working closely with the teachers in the department. We can also offe guranteed work scheme for these roles
Position Details:
Role: General Cover Teacher
Pay: £140 per day
Contract: Full-Time 5 days a week however the school would also consider part time if you have consistent availability
Start Date: September 2024

For those who rely on public transportation, there are plenty of options available across the North East. Ideally due to the nature of the role and the need to be flexible we are looking for educators that can easily commute and get to Gateshead

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Strong grasp of the National Curriculum, with the ability to cover various lessons
Excellent classroom management skills.
Child-only DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply (we can assist).
Two recent professional references.
Job Brief:
Deliver lessons across KS3 and KS4 to students of varying abilities.
Plan and implement lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
