Job Duties

For more information on our products, services and locations visit govce.net The purpose of this position is to enhance the customer experience in providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selection within the office furniture industries as required in a consistent and timely manner. Generate sales proposals and quotations for large and small projects, and develop all documents required for proposal generation to include, but not limited to specification sheets, product spreadsheets, and code request generation. Manage incoming inquiries from customers requesting timely updates on project status and executing proactive outbound communications via telephone and email as circumstances warrant
Minimum Qualifications
Advanced skillset in using Microsoft Office software to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and keyboarding techniques with minimal errors. Basic understanding and knowledge of room layouts and space planning. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in written and oral communications. Ability to maintain attention to detail, provide empathy, listen actively to resolve problems, and multi-task effectively. Ability to coordinate, collaborate, and effectively work with other individuals and departments for positive outcomes. Ability to organize, prioritize, and exhibit time management skills. High School diploma or GED required. Prior administrative experience in an office and/or manufacturing environment.
Additional Considerations
Experience working in an active, fast paced furniture manufacturing and proposal generation environment for large and small projects. Experience with inside sales, customer service, project management, product application, and a computerized inventory control system or ERP/MRP system.
