When teams need to make critical business decisions, they need accurate financial insights. The Finance Business Partner role ensures we have the precise data and analysis to drive performance, collaborating with stakeholders to set and achieve targets while maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting.
This position sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations. It offers excellent scope - from providing accurate management accounts and insightful variance analysis to working collaboratively with budget holders across the organisation, all while supporting our rotating system that gives you exposure to different business areas every few years.

What you'll be doing
* You'll be the trusted advisor for budget holders and senior stakeholders, providing accurate financial information that helps them make informed decisions.
* You'll collaborate with operational teams to set realistic targets, working together to develop strategies that achieve financial goals.
* You'll prepare precise management accounts and detailed variance analysis, turning complex financial data into clear insights that drive performance.
* You'll adapt to working across different business areas as part of our rotation system, bringing fresh perspectives while tackling diverse challenges including complex areas like Property Services.
* You'll take ownership of specific organisational challenges, working collaboratively in a matrix-style environment to develop and implement effective solutions.
* You'll ensure the highest standards of financial control and compliance, balancing meticulous accuracy with the need to make timely, pragmatic decisions.

You're the person who brings clarity to financial complexity. With your professional qualification from a chartered accountancy body (or equivalent experience), you excel at delivering highly accurate financial information while building collaborative relationships that drive results.
People naturally turn to you because your analytical approach and commitment to accuracy build trust and confidence. You're equally comfortable discussing detailed financial matters with colleagues in finance, explaining implications to operational teams, or presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
When challenges arise, you stay focused and solution-oriented. You can identify patterns in financial data and translate them into actionable recommendations. You adapt easily to new business areas and thrive in a fluid, matrix-style environment where priorities may shift.
