We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Project Engineering graduate to join our business. You may not have previously considered working in a food manufacturing environment; however, the role of a Group Project Engineer in meat processing can be hugely varied and extremely rewarding. There is not much sitting behind a desk in this role; instead, you will be hands-on and on the go, working in a fast-paced, busy food manufacturing business.

Responsibilities
Our Group Project Engineers are essential to the development of manufacturing within our business. They are involved in working on projects designing proposals to enhance the process of manufacturing food. These projects strive to maximise site productivity by enhancing current production processes.
Group Project Engineer duties cover many project areas from design, quoting and budgeting through to the installation of new process machinery, plantrooms, production lines, factory extensions and factories. You will need to be comfortable working with numbers and good communication skills are key.
As a Project Engineering Graduate, you will work as part of a dedicated, driven and supportive team. As your knowledge and responsibilities increase, over time you will travel to other sites giving you the opportunity to become involved in projects across the business. In addition to your existing technical engineering knowledge, you'll have an appetite to continue to learn and develop your knowledge.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have or demonstrate:
1. A degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, automatic or robotic engineering;
2. Excellent communication skills;
3. Strong financial understanding and business acumen with an appetite to develop further;
4. An understanding of operating integrity, quality processes and systems with high standards for compliance and quality;
5. An understanding and awareness of HSE requirements, always complies and operates in line with policies and procedures;
6. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
7. Excellent time management;
8. Understanding of team dynamics, demonstrating the ability to work as an active and constructive member of a team with a professional enthusiastic attitude;
9. Excellent attention to detail;
10. A current valid driving licence;
11. The successful candidate must, by the commencement of employment, have the right to work in the UK.
