As a Variable Hours Lecturer - Counselling you will be educating and engaging our students, preparing them for careers in a variety of counselling environments. The skills and knowledge that you teach the students have a real impact on the counselling sector as you will be teaching skills such as active listening, empathy, emotional intelligence, supportive relationships, problem solving and conflict resolution whilst adhering to professional standards and ethical practice. The successful candidate will be required to: Plan and deliver high quality and engaging counselling lessons, using up to date vocational knowledge and expertise to ensure the curriculum delivered develops students counselling skills, knowledge and behaviours. Have the ability to plan and prepare innovative schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment schedules which motivate students to achieve. Plan and deliver highly effective learning programmes for diverse groups or individuals in a safe and inclusive environment, whilst also ensuring students are stretched and challenged to reach their full potential. Have extensive Counselling experience and be able to share vocational knowledge to students.
