We are seeking an ambitious Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across the South and Midlands Region. You will be responsible for developing a successful sales budget, implementing a targeted sales strategy, and building strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers and end user businesses.
Reporting to the Sales & Commercial Director, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base across all of STEICO UK's markets and product groups.
Responsibilities
* Create and implement an effective sales strategy in conjunction with the Sales & Commercial Director.
* Establish, maintain, and expand customer relationships to achieve regional sales targets.
* Manage the sales process from initial enquiry to through the most suitable channel.
* Achieve budgeted turnover and profitability targets.
* Provide key market intelligence, including competitor activity and market dynamics.
* Contribute to and upkeep CRM system with relevant information.
* Handle customer complaints with appropriate solutions.
* Represent STEICO UK at customer events as required.
* Collaborate with internal STEICO departments and other Group companies to foster strong working relationships.
Ideally, you'll have the following:
* Preferably degree qualified.
* Able to prioritise and work effectively to deadlines.
* Experience selling engineered wood products.
* Have excellent IT skills including Microsoft 365 and CRM.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of creating relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the business.
* Be proactive and able to take the initiative.
* Able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism when engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
* Have good business and commercial awareness.
* Understand market requirements and opportunities.
