Main duties of the job An opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to develop their skills in rehabilitation of conditions including trauma, fracture, osteoarthritis, general deconditioning and both, pre and post-surgery. You will be working with an MSK population (predominantly upper limb and spinal) and engaging them in exercise therapy. You will be responsible for you own caseload under the direction of a qualified staff member. You will take referrals from qualified staff to progress rehabilitation. Patients are seen individually and in groups according to need. There may be an opportunity to deliver rehabilitation within the department's hydrotherapy pool subject to additional training as required. There will also be a requirement to cover poolside duties as needed. You will be supported in this role by weekly clinical supervision, in-service training and through the appraisal process.
