What you'll be doing:
You will manage the Ingredient Compliance and Coordination function for Avon International's cosmetic products. Your role ensures that both existing and new cosmetic products and ingredients comply with regulatory requirements, preserving Avon's brand and corporate reputation while maintaining business continuity. You'll oversee all new and existing raw materials, acting as the main point of contact for vendor technical queries.
Key responsibilities:
* Coding and publishing new raw ingredients (RI) and formulas for OV projects.
* Ensuring Cruelty-Free International certification documentation for all new Avon International sourced RIs and formulas.
* Managing new and temporary RI coding, including regulatory review.
* Overseeing temporary approvals and substitutions to ensure business continuity and compliance.
* Maintaining the raw ingredient compendium and publishing specifications.
* Reviewing and approving alternate sources and maintaining GHS classifications.
* Creating and amending product label copy accurately and on time.
* Responding to queries from regulatory and other colleagues.
* Managing RI composition changes and ensuring regulatory team visibility.
* Supporting Avon International R&D initiatives and regulatory projects, including sustainability.
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in ingredient compliance and coordination.
* Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for cosmetic products.
* Excellent organizational and project management skills.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
* Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
* Experience in managing raw materials and ensuring compliance.
* Strong communication skills and ability to respond to technical queries.
* Ability to support R&D initiatives and regulatory projects.
