Flux Consulting have once again partnered with a leading Construction business who, due to continued growrth, are looking for a dedicated Contracts Manager to join the team and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects.
You will oversee and manage all aspects of contract administration, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in line with budget expectations. You’ll collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients, taking responsibility for contract negotiations, scheduling, compliance, and quality control. This role requires someone with a proven track record in managing high-value residential construction projects and a hands-on approach to leadership.
Key Responsibilities of this position will include;
* Manage multiple design and build contracts with values up to £15 million, primarily within the residential sector for local authorities.
* Lead contract administration, from initial contract negotiation to project completion.
* Ensure projects meet budgetary, scheduling, and quality objectives, addressing any issues that arise.
* Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth workflow and project progression.
* Oversee health, safety, and regulatory compliance across all projects.
* Manage and mitigate risk, resolving contractual issues and claims proactively.
The ideal applicant will possess;
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry, with a focus on residential projects.
* Strong knowledge of contract law, construction contracts, and local authority requirements.
* Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects.
* Valid UK driving license (required for site visits).
The successful applicant can expect to receive;
