About you….
To be successful in the role of SEND Development Officer you will have:
* Excellent communication skills and enjoy working with a team passionate about supporting children with SEND
* A proven track record as an exceptional administrator with good attention to detail
* Experience working with the public
* Able to provide excellent customer service
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Willing to learn new skills.
About the role…
As the SEND Development Officer your duties will include:
* Providing critical business and operational support to meet the needs of our statutory duties in SEND.
* Playing a key part in the operation of our SEND panel in Rutland
* Working closely with schools to coordinate appropriate paperwork for our decision-making process.
* Supporting annual review processes for children in Rutland
* Processing and delivering high-quality reports for our performance monitoring requirements
The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.
The SEND Development Officer interviews will be held on 20 December 2024 face to face at Rutland County Council offices. Please be advised this could be subject to change, in which case we will give appropriate notice.
