About the role
Working Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, you will be responsible for:
Manage daily warehouse operations, overseeing inventory levels and shipments
Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Book daily jobs into the system and ensure all jobs are correctly priced
Handle customer enquiries related to bookings, deliveries, and rates
Liaise with the planning department to provide customers with up-to-date delivery schedules and pricing information
Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring a seamless workflow
Support and supervise warehouse staff as needed to maintain efficiency
About you
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in warehouse administration or logistics, with strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage a fast-paced work environment. Excellent communication and customer service abilities are essential for handling enquiries and liaising with various departments. The role requires proficiency in data entry and warehouse management systems, along with competent computer skills to ensure accurate record-keeping and job bookings. A Forklift License and Pallet Truck training are highly desirable, while a Class 1 Driving License is preferable but not essential. Prior experience in a logistics environment is beneficial, though full training will be provided. The ideal candidate will be a team player, self-motivated, and deadline-driven, thriving in a role that demands efficiency, accuracy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
