What will you be doing?
Main responsibilities for the role include:
15. Allocating Aftersales resources in a cost-effective manner whilst remaining within budgetary guidelines, applying a flexible approach to the use of manpower and physical resources across divisions.
16. Assessing Parts stock levels to identify opportunities for optimisation.
17. Achieving profit objectives that have been negotiated within a specific time frame.
18. Identifying opportunities to strategically develop the business and implementing long term plans.
19. Planning, initiating and promoting marketing events and promotions.
20. Reviewing the monthly sales and profit performance in co-operation with other department managers.
21. Building a strong rapport and relationships with external customers to secure long term profitable business.
22. Providing positive customer experiences in all instances, leading by example to promote a customer focused team performance.
23. Coaching and developing the job-related skills of team members to support improvements in their job performance.
24. Planning and adjusting the workloads of department personnel to match their skills and abilities, considering the shifting priorities of the department.
25. Communicating visions and goals to all team members.
The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 18:00pm.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will:
26. Have previous Aftersales experience working within the Retail Motor Industry.
27. Be familiar with automotive systems, warranties, services, repairs.
28. React to sense of timescales and urgency.
29. Be able to lead, coach and motivate their team.
30. Have exceptional customer service skills as well as strong communication skills.
31. Demonstrate the ability to work to a high level of accuracy and have excellent organisational skills.
32. Have a real drive to succeed and a need to exceed targets!
