What We Are Offering
We are welcoming Staff Nurses (newly registering) into roles across our organisation so there are lots of opportunities to become a valued member of our team. This is an amazing opportunity for you to start your paediatric nursing career with one of the top children’s hospitals in the UK! Cohort start dates are: 6th October 2025 and 12th January 2026.
How To Apply

2. For consideration into an ITU area (PICU, NICU or CICU) you must be able to demonstrate relevant skills and experience from your clinical placements.
3. You must obtain your nursing qualification by your selected date to commence in post.
4. If your application is successful, you will be invited to an interview during week commencing 28th April 2025.
5. To work as a skilled member of the nursing team, to provide a high standard of holistic family centered care to the children, young people and families.
6. Ability to promote family centered care and establish good relationships with children, young people and their families.
7. To communicate effectively at all levels within the multi-disciplinary team.
8. To be able to take charge of the ward in the absence of senior nursing staff following achievement of required competence.
9. To be familiar with and adopt the principles of the NHS Chief Nursing Officers vision for Compassion in Practice (NHS Commissioning Board Dec 2012).
